Teton Valley is filled with incredible events all year round! Enjoy summers full of free music, incredible festivals, farmers markets, Fourth of July celebrations, and more. During the winter you'll find live music at local restaurants and bars ever week. The annual Teton Valley Great Snow Fest celebrates the excitement of winter with ice sculptures, a snow ball, and more. You'll also get to enjoy some of the Valley's best restaurants. Grand Targhee Resort is home to unbeatable winter events, including live music, free ride competitions, cardboard box derbies, and, of course, unbeatable light, deep powder. Come celebrate winter and soak up the exciting, lively mountain town atmosphere of Teton Valley, Idaho!

Teton Valley Balloon Rally


07/01 (Sat) - 07/02 (Sun) - 2017 Teton Valley Balloon Rally
Balloons will be launching from the Teton Valley Fairgrounds in Driggs, Idaho shortly after sunrise on Saturday July 1st and Sunday July 2nd. We are expecting to have about a dozen balloons launching each morning. Some of the balloon pilots will be remaining in the valley through July 4th, but any flights on those days are not part of the balloon rally, and are made solely at the discretion of the pilots involved.

Enjoy meeting and listening to Idaho's governor with a luncheon from Badger Creek Cafe. Seating for 50 people at Tetonia Elementary. The format is much like a town hall meeting; it is an open discussion forum for citizens to raise any question or idea related to issues involving our State government. Typically the Governor’s Office is made aware ahead of time about specific state government is? sues that may come up – such as state lands, the economy, education, wildlife, and so on – and representatives of the agencies that can best respond to questions about those issues are guaranteed to attend.

Join us for a day of trail work and give back to those public lands you enjoy so much. We will be working on a well-loved valley trail- Horseshoe Canyon. All ages are welcome and encouraged.
07/10 (Mon) - TVTAP GET Outside Series “Botanist”
Join TVTAP on an hike led by a Botanist and learn as you hike one of our beautiful valley trails. This hike will be a learning experience and enjoyable for the whole family. More Details to be posted in the spring of 2017.

Started in the summer of 2004 to draw on the musical spirit that exists under the shadows of the majestic Teton Mountains, Targhee Fest is the ultimate all-around mountain lifestyle and music festival in the Rockies. Targhee Fest occurs in a majestic high-alpine setting at 7800 feet that is just steps away from the village of Grand Targhee Resort where you can have comfortable lodging accommodations, great dining, lift serviced hiking & biking, and full service shopping – with camping only a few more short steps away from the main music venue. Join us at the Driggs City Center to celebrate our largest fundraiser of the year. There will be running races and booths to visit. It is a great family event and we hope you will stop by the TVTAP booth. Ride your bike to the celebration and we will watch it for you.

Join TVTAP on this horse specific trail ride. The ride will be led by a local that knows the best areas to bring your equine friend. HORSES ARE NOT SUPPLIED, MUST BRING YOUR OWN HORSE. More Details to be posted in the spring of 2017.
07/23 (Sun) - Symphony on Sunday
Woodwind Quintet – Featuring works by Gershwin, Bizet, Grainger and others This concert will kick off the opening of the week-long Driggs Digs Plein Air Festival. Visiting artists will be invited to the “Paint Out” during the concert. The public is invited to the Plein Air Exhibition Opening Reception in the Teton Arts Gallery at the Driggs City Center immediately following the concert. The second in a series of 3 Free outdoor Classical Music Concerts will be performed by members of the Idaho Falls Symphony Orchestra at the Driggs City Plaza from 4pm-6 pm on July 2, July 23 and August 27.
07/23 (Sun) - 07/29 (Sat) - Driggs Plein Air
Now in its 6th year, the Driggs Digs Plein Air Festival boasts 75 plein air painters from all over the country and Canada who come to the small town of Driggs, Idaho to participate in this week-long artistic festival, hosted by the Downtown Driggs Community Association.

During the event, registered artists and spectators are treated to FREE gatherings, including the week long Exhibition & Sale of over 250 plein air paintings in the Driggs City Gallery.

This fun week for spectators and collectors includes an Opening Reception, 2 Paint Outs, 2 Quick Draws, professional artist demonstrations, Competition Award Ceremony and Closing Reception. Many of these activities take place during other popular local cultural events such as Classics at City Center, Shakespeare in the Parks and Music on Main.

Renowned Jackson artist, Jim Wilcox, and Driggs Digs Plein Air workshop instructor, Aaron Schuerr, will judge the main competition on Saturday, July 29th, followed by the Awards Ceremony and Closing Reception. All are welcome!

Started in 1987 Targhee Bluegrass is the Grand Daddy of Bluegrass Festivals in the Northern Rockies, combing great Bluegrass with the ultimate mountain lifestyle. Grand Targhee Resort’s Bluegrass Festival has been a mainstay for Bluegrass aficionados for over two generations with stage appearances by artists and performers during that span that all Bluegrass Festivals envy. During the week leading up to the festival, many of the stage performers and artists play host to a very unique camp and music teaching experience by attending the Targhee Music Camp.

Join us for a gem of a race West of Driggs. Both 10k and 20k race courses afford the racers with some beautiful vistas and great natural terrain.
